In order to realize the financial services necessary for the operation of your business in Albania, you can use the services offered by several financial institutions such as banks and non-banks.
Banks are financial institutions that carry out the banking activity of accepting monetary deposits or other repayable funds from the public and using them for granting loans and making deposits in their own name and for their own account as well as other financial activities, according to the provisions in the framework legal. Currently, 11 banks operate in Albania, with foreign and local capital.
Non-bank financial entities are financial institutions that carry out financial activities, defined in the legal and regulatory framework, such as lending, microcredit, factoring, financial leasing, payment and money transfer services, electronic money issuance, foreign exchange, etc. Currently, 37 non-bank financial entities operate in Albania.
